Mr. Alemu Daniel Mohammed (PhD candidate) is currently a Chief Executive Director of Menelik II Medical and Health Science College. Mr. Alemu Daniel exemplifies a blend of academic excellence, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to advancing health education and service excellence.

Mr. Alemu's academic journey is characterized by a steadfast commitment to excellence and a passion for health sciences. His foundational education was earned at Jimma University in 2010, one of Ethiopia's premier higher education institutions, where he obtained his first degree. His academic curiosity and dedication to improving health outcomes propelled him to further his specialization in emergency and critical care, earning a master's degree from Addis Ababa University in 2017, Ethiopia's oldest and most prestigious university. Currently, Mr. Alemu is pursuing his doctoral studies at the University of South Africa, where he is in his fourth year as a PhD candidate.

Mr. Alemu began his professional career at Menelik II Specialized Referral Hospital in 2010, where he served for four years. In 2015, he joined Menelik II Medical and Health Science College as an academician. In 2025, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Director.
