School Overview
The School of Public Health comprises four postgraduate departments: Health Service Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health Nutrition, and Epidemiology offering programs in both regular and weekend modalities. In addition, the School runs one undergraduate post-basic program in Family Health. Currently, the School of Public Health serves over 400 students across its five distinctive programs and has about 40 academic staff members, all contributing specialized expertise to advance health science education, research, and community health.

The School of Public Health serves as one of the core academic divisions of the college, dedicated to producing competent, ethical, and community-oriented health professionals.

Core Responsibilities
- Formulate the school’s strategic and annual plans and submitting the plan for their Chief Academic Director.
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Conduct problem-solving research to provide evidence-based solutions to pressing public health challenges.
- Engage community service programs to improve population health and well-being.
- Design, implement, and evaluate curricula that address current healthcare needs and anticipate future workforce demands.
- Strengthening collaborations with various stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous quality improvement in teaching and learning.

- Launch new need-based academic programs.
- Strengthen partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations for student internships.
- Manage and resolve administrative matters through the School’s Academic Commission.
