Mr. Duressa Mulatu (MSc) is Chief Administrative and Development Director of Menelik II Medical and Health Sciences College. Appointed in August 2024, he leads the strategic transformation of administrative functions, including Finance, Procurement, Property Administration, Plan and Budget, Human Resources Management & Development, and Student Affairs.

With over 16 years of experience in academia and leadership, Mr. Duressa has built a distinguished career at the intersection of nursing, emergency care, and program leadership. He has previously served as a lecturer at Samara University and Saint Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College. He has also served as an external consultant for the Ministry of Health Ethiopia, contributing to the establishment of emergency medical and intensive care services nationwide.

He joined Menelik II Medical and Health Sciences College in 2018. Before his current appointment, he served as the head of the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Nursing.
